I had my TracFone Nokia 5180i apart the other day.
I observed a whiper soldiered to the circuit board that contacts the bottom end of the antenna, when it is fully retracted (not extended).
It looks like it grounds the antenna to the circuit board?
The RF section is on the top of the circuit board near the RF connector.
The metal whiper is in the middle of the circuit board (on the edge) far removed from the RF section.
Therefore, the antenna does not rediate RF in the retracted position?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
