Question

Touchpad Ps/2

Hi,
I want to fully engage my PS/2 touch pad, once & for all.
I do the Device manager> Mice>PS/2>Driver>Uninstall & reboot & for that one session, it stays un-reactive, but by the next log in, the pad is again installed & interfering with my typing. It doesn't give me the option of Disabling.
Running Win7 on an HP Laptop
Many thanks in advance.

Answer
For me there are so many priors.

There are so many priors that I can't add any new ideas. There's the setting in the touchpad to disable, there's Touchfreeze and more. Not much new to add here.
