Question

Touchpad driver missing

Nov 16, 2015 6:14PM PST

Hi,
I have a computer Acer ES1-512. I was in the device manager and was looking if they were any updates available. The touchpad driver did update but to be complete, the pc needed to be restart but I didn't restart it right away. A few minutes later, I restart my computer and then the touchpad is not working. I go look for it in device manager and it's not there and neither in mouse settings.
I tried to download the driver from acer website. I double clock on setup and it installs and says "ready to use", but it still not working.
What can I do to make my touchpad work again?
My computer: windows 10 x64
