TouchED Error On Startup (Toshiba Notebook)

The following error message was displayed when I started up my computer:

TouchED Error
Not Spported
Occurred Part-TouchED.DLL-SciFunc()
Failed Function-TsciGetWithOpenIF()
Error Code-0x000a1206

Any idea how to fix this? Will this problem persist? And, honestly, what does this mean? Thanks in advance!

It's your touchpad...

In short, the software/drivers for the touchpad on your laptop did not load properly. It may have been a one-time glitch in which case there's nothing to worry about. However, if it continues happening you'll want to reinstall the software and drivers for it using your recovery CD. If you don't have the CD or cannot find the files, you should be able to download the latest version from Toshiba's website.
