Hello, My Toshiba Projection set is not going to powered on [:(]. I think there is some problem in Power supply? Will you help me in from where can I get a new one with guaranteed life at cheaper rates. Or what has actually happened to my set?Any advice would be appreciated.
Hope to have a positive response.
Thanks in Advance

Plasma power
by steve051 / August 11, 2007 11:06 AM PDT

This model is a flat-panel plasma. Proffit's is a rear proj. CRT TV, and doesn't have same parts.

I suggest that if aren't getting any pix and you definitely have tried unplugging 1st, call repairman.
The reason is that this is most likely a scan bd. , but could be the PS. I repair other brands (not TOS) and scan bds. are just as common to suck down the PS in some brands. Don't get me wrong : it could be PS, as this is more common than scan bd in PAN.
But, I would bet that the PS and the 2 scan bds. would cost 2-300 each.
Better to get an estimate 1st.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
