Toshiba Setallite M40

by ejen / March 26, 2005 2:29 PM PST

I'm trying to decide on Pentium M based notebook, with < 6.5lb weight and > 14in display. I'm series considering Toshiba's Satellite M40 and, since I couldn't find any review about it from CNET, I would welcome any comments from a Satellite M40 user. Any other comments about the Pros and Cons would be very helpful for me.

Also, I'm also looking for a wired+wireless LAN Router, and I am wondering if anyone could offer a short explaination about the difference between 802.11b and 802.11g except the speed difference?

Thanks a lot!

Eric

Bought one 3 months ago, enjoyed all the features but the DVD broke down just after 1 and a half month. Terrible support/service from Toshiba, its taking more time to repair than I had it used.
Good luck if you get one.
