Toshiba Satellite Polish Coating... it rubbed off! Help!!

Mar 8, 2005 10:58PM PST

Hello!

I have a blue toshiba satellite A70 widescreen notebook, and the coating on the top of the laptop cover (the shiny blue plastic casing) has some marks where the polish has been rubbed off, and theres some shiny spots (little shiny circle scuffs)

How can I fix this?

You eventually get used to the nicks and scrapes that happen. Some will go so far as to disassemble the notebook and give it a new paint job. Some newer spray paints adher to the plastic better than before.

the coating

Well it looks like Toshiba put some type of dulling coating over the shiny plastic, because where it has rubbed off has real shiny spots (must be the shiny plastic underneath showing through).

Can anyone refer me to some kind of polish I can use on my Toshiba to rub into those shiny spots and get it to all be the same smooth surface?

THANKS!
