Then it's time to try a new charger and then a new motherboard.
Now all these not-charging issues are settings. Sometimes it's just a failed board.
This is a Satellite L455D-S5976.
This issue has been takes about in many places. I’ve read everything and tried everything. Nothing has worked.
I have uninstalled the Battery Method deal and scanned for hardware, I’ve restarted after uninstalling. I’ve tried every solution with the Battery Method driver. None of that worked.
I just bought a new battery. The old battery will say it has 18%, but will not charge at all. As soon as the power cable is pulled, it dies.
The new battery will charge if the computer is off. However, if the computer is on, it will not charge the battery. The computer runs the battery down to 0% and then stays on with the power chord. Once the chord is pulled, it dies. It appears the computer won’t run off the power chord until the battery dies, which is wrong.
Any help?
