Toshiba Satellite A205-S5864 Issue

Hello all,

I've an issue hopefully someone can offer more insight or other thoughts. This Toshiba Satellite A205-S5864 seems to shut off randomly, almost as if it were over heating. However, it does this when it is powered up from long down times so, it's cold. I have tried 3 different sets of memory and during memtest86 testing, it shuts off within 10 to 30 minutes. It almost seems as if it is bad senors or something along those lines as it's not consistent in time when it shuts off. Also, I do have the battery in and the AC adapter connected when it shuts off. I'm thinking it is going to need a new mother board but, I'd like to see if someone else has any other suggests before a new board is put in it.

Thanks in advanced,
James

Just wondering.

Has this machine received a yearly cleaning? Many laptops are tricked like bricks.

How?

And how often?

If it didn't get the yearly or still has issues, read about how to do the deep cleaning in this forum's TOP POST.
