I always had to reboot every hour back then.
Try this. Use the OPTIMIZING WINDOWS article at http://aumha.org/articles.php
Also, NO SPYWARE!
In closing, I know the problem but the resource issue was NEVER solved.

When using any database on my Toshiba Satellite 2250 after a 1/2 hour or so depending on how many pages I open and close an error message comes up "CLOSE". There is no explanation.
I am running windows 98se, 128 ram, 600hz.
Often just before the error message comes up if I try to print a page I get an error message from the printer saying that there is not enough memory and to close all unnecessary applications. I have no other applications open. It appears to me that the ram is not shedding unused pages and is cloging up. This problem however does not occur in any other program, only databases. The databases I use are small,My home finances on Quicken and a cattle herd database in access.
All the local gurus have never heard of the problem. Can any body out there help.
