Toshiba Qosmio vs Asus G50

by FFxEMT / July 24, 2008 3:55 AM PDT

I'm stuck between the new Qosmio (something 805 I think) and Asus G50. From what I can tell, they have the same specs but the Toshiba has a faster processor while the Asus has 1gb more ram and is 64 bit compared to Toshiba at 32 bit. Which laptop is the better choice? The Asus is 1250 while the Toshiba is 1400 although it's not much of a difference if the Toshiba would be better, I'd be glad to pay the extra.

Today, depends on country.

I've heard good support outside of the USA for Asus. And not so good here so all things equal go with the best support.

This computer also has Maxx Audio in here. For those who don’t know Maxx Audio is made by Waves. They make the coolest Studio software FX, if you like plying music on your computer – this is the one for you.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
