Question

Toshiba laptop shows white screen only

Mar 4, 2015 12:49AM PST

When my wife turns her Toshiba Satellite P755 laptop on it opens to a blank white screen. Just before this happened the touch pad and mouse stopped working. The keyboard back lights, hard drive light and such are on but that's it. We have turned it off, unplugged it and removed and reinstalled the battery. Any one got an idea whats going on?

Usually mainboard, ram, cables or LCD.

It really doesn't tell us which one failed. I don't see which model you have but this line appeared about 2010 so it could be that old and failed.

Get estimates and then compare to replacement cost. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/toshiba-satellite-p755 sees 100's of these. Maybe get a good one and move the HDD over?
