I thought the HDMI standard allow for DVI connections. Have you talk with Toshiba?
So I would think if it doesn't work with Toshiba tv then it will not work with other brands either.
Any one have any ideas why I shouldn't be able to connect my HP Media Center to the Toshiba 62HMX that I bought specifically for that purpose? The manual says not to use the HDMI connection to link with a computer. Of course this is what you learn when you unpack it and read the manual... not before you lay down $3500!
As far as I can tell, there shouldn't be any difference between my computer's graphics card and the latest DVD players...?
Toshiba doesn't say that the warranty will be void, but it does repeat the admonition not to connect to computer several times in the manual. Why don't they advise such on their website, the box and advertising materials if it's a real issue???
Anyone recommend alternative TV's?
