Toshiba BIOS update 1.8

Jun 22, 2010 1:36AM PDT

My mom just got done doing this update on her Toshiba Windows 7 laptop because it was in the 'recommended downloads/updates' section on her computer. She followed the simple and easy directions to a T and when her computer comes back on, her mousepad and her keyboard aren't functioning whatsoever. So I recommend you don't do that update for sometime so they can work out whatever problems they have.
My mom called the Toshiba technical support, and the only solution they had was to reset the computer back to the out-of-box settings.

that holding down the FN key and tapping F9 it will activate and or deactivate your TouchPad...

It's worth a try, at least Happy

But that sure doesn't help when the keyboard doesn't function at all. Nothing, not letters, numbers, anything.
