I just posted on the other thread you had posted before this one. I don't think the A45 is as good a platform as the M35 so I think you got the best deal and I don't know how you got this under $1,000 as Circuit City has it after discounts as I posted for $1,049 or so.

Unless you determine the A45 is a Pentium M system with the new Sonoma architecture (see my detail in other post) keep the M35X you have.

By, the way, do you have the Trubrite LCD on this or did you get the non-Trubrite XGA 15.4" LCD?

Trubrite is a great look for consumers but too reflective in a business setting with overhead lights.

I don't know of any other notebook that was not a clearance item that has a full Pentium M Dothan cpu (old 715 Pentium M 1.5 or above, new Sonoma spec 720 Pentium M 1.5 or above) with the full 2mb L2 system cache and not a Celeron Pentium M .
