Question

Toshiba 27" Television

Apr 19, 2018 8:21AM PDT

My Toshiba 27" model 27AF45 television was purchased in 2005. Lately the picture is blurred and any print such as a news ticker or program description is unreadable. I've adjusted the screen but it doesn't help. The blurring is happening more often and lasting longer. Can it be fixed or is my t.v. too old to repair? It's been a wonderful television and I've never had a problem until the past couple of months. Any answers/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Answer
Time to get a repair estimate.

While the symptom sounds like a failing LCD I can't be sure as I can't see the set.

27 inch sets can be pretty cheap so get your estimate and compare it to replacement cost.
