Can anyone give me advice on which they would reccommend? I know the 700, although older, is $50 more. I am a professional photographer looking for a small camera to take on vacation (going to the Beach and a football tournament this next week) , family functions, messing around, when I don't want to lug aroung my SLR. I do sometimes blow my pics from my little camera up to 8x10 or 11x14, if I catch a really cool shot and don't have my SLR. I want something that is comfortable in hand, fits in pocket or purse, and low shutter lag...that is my biggest beef with the point and shoot digitals. I bought a nikon coolpix 5000 2 years ago but dropped it in the sand last fall. It still works but has problems. I was very unhappy with the shutter lag and time between shots in that camera. Any advice would be appreciated!
