You have to check the battery technology used.
However, I no longer fiddle with the stock settings on batteries. I set it per the maker's default and let it charge. The bad old days where makers were way off are long gone.
There is no gain to fiddly on the model you noted outside of running on AC whenever possible.
I had always assumed that it is best to follow a nearly 0 % to 100 % charge cycle with phone and laptops batteries.
But I recently discovered on Battery University (among others) that in fact Li Ion gets effected with high voltage. They recommend something like a 30 to 80 % DOD.
I want to know to what extend this advice holds true for my early 2015 MBP 13 in? I have over the past year and a half generally charged from 5 % to 100 %, leaving the charger on for up to an hour at most after full charge.
In general what is the best method to charge my MBP?
