There is about a million features to consider, but what is important to you? Price, size, Optical zoom, Mini-DV, DVD, etc. Check out the buying guide on Cnet.com and see if that helps. Then check out some reviews and find out what you are most interested in as far as features. Everyone has their own preferences as to what brand, features, etc.
OK For a wedding present I'm going to be receiving a dvCam and the purchaser has asked if I can tell him what the most important features he should be looking for rather than a specific make or model. I'm looking for a camera just for casual use, family videos, vacations, events etc. but would like to be happy with the output. Can anyone help out?
