** Windows 8.1 compatibility **

Windows 8.1 Preview version was released few days ago. We would like to inform you that AVG 2013 is compatible with Windows 8.1. However you may receive the Program Compatibility Assistant warning (screenshot) in rare cases.
We are still investigating source of this issue. However it is possible to download and install beta version of AVG 2014 temporarily if you face this issue.

** Removed device from AVG Remote Management **

Some of you are asking us what to do after accidentally removing device from AVG Remote Management. We would like to let you know that device removal is permanent and cannot be reverted (e.g. when device is lost). To register deleted device go to AVG for Android >> Anti-Theft >> Menu (Options) >> Un-register and then register your device again.

** VProtect Application **

Please be informed that process vprot.exe (VProtect Application) is legitimate part of the AVG toolbar. We have prepared the What is VProtect Application and vprot.exe article where you can find more information as well as instructions how to fix common issues.

** AVG PC TuneUp 2013 trial has expired **

Once the AVG PC TuneUp trial expires, you will receive the "Keep your PC in tip-top condition - always!; Your trial period has expired!" pop-up (the wording may vary; screenshot). Please follow the What to do when your AVG PC TuneUp trial expires article to stop this pop-up.

** AVG Continuing Protection Service **

AVG Continuing Protection Service is an optional service that keeps your computer continuously protected by automatically renewing your license for more years at the end of your subscription period. This service is automatically enabled for new AVG AntiVirus, Internet Security, Family Safety and LiveKive purchases made through AVG eshop. Please follow the How to cancel automatic renewals? article to cancel automatic renewals for your products.
