Question

Too much dynamic range in movies. How to reduce?

I live in a small home with 2 others. Most movies I stream have way too much dynamic range. The dialogue is too soft and the explosions too loud. How can I reduce the range?

DRC is noted at about DRC at the 3 minute mark. Not all TVs and receivers have it.

The only way is to you need to play with the equalizer on your tv till you get the desired output and also look for an option that says auto sound leveler that is available with most of the TV that will allow you to listen music at a constant amplitude.
