KAZAA users need education.

Sadly, KAZAA is the CRACK COCAINE of PC software.

Until you kick the habit, nothing anyone will offer will stop this PC from misbehaving.

Write back when you need to kick the habit. In the meantime, ask about KAZAA in the Security Forum.

Hey rookie

Bad move mentioning that you have KAZZA on your system.

No I won't flame, just want to tell you that over 40%
(corrections anyone?) of the new viruses and pests out today come from P2P Networking. Creating all kind of havoc to the Internet and Computer Security.

See this list

See what is installed with Kazza

Not only that, do you now that in some
states if you are under 21 your parents
are responsible for your actions?

I think your machine will get better fast!

Most of this issue requires the owner to kick the pests off the machine. Some just don't get the message so quickly and end up with machines that only a format is the exit.

My initial fix list would be with these free tools I can find with http://www.google.com

1. Kazaabegone

I've found it to work well, but some lose their internet connection. The pests had installed their own LSP. Find LSPFIX to fix that.

2. The other pest control programs... Adaware, Spybot, Stinger and Housecall.

Usually, after all this the machine is ok, but I usually follow it up with one last thing.

3. IEFIX

This free tool tells what it does at its web site. I've found it to correct many things.
