Too many issues w/ Firefox

Nov 29, 2010 11:01PM PST

Hello Folks!

I had heard good things re: Firefox when I bought my first Mac in 2009. I was told that Firefox works well w/ Macs. I didn't download right away as I did want to learn Safari. Well, as things turned out, I finally just got rid of the Firefox after way too many freezes and other issues. I had to download, erase, and download again a few times due to an inability to get rid of some add-on. Anyway, I am getting to know Safari again and my son seems to like Chrome. Any suggestions from anyone? Happy holidays!

Experimented with Chrome

and found it buggy. No wonder it is still in beta. You might like to try Camino and old Flock. I would first recommend Camino. My default is iCab but it needs identity change sometimes on some sites (and on some htpps sites it does not work well), so I would say it is for more advanced users. However, you can always try it too.
