EWIDO from http://www.download.com seems to be easy to use and for XP owners may be the one stop program for spyware control.

Till this version I was using a suite of tools which I still do on other thatn XP.

FYI - Bob, using your link, then a search for EWIDO, produced a d/l page but also a "purchase now" button. So, while I try this for now, its not totally free, maybe a trial period. I', d/l'ing as I type. -----Willy

Willy, It's Free But...

...The original download includes a 14 day trial of the "added" features indicated in the article...At the end of the 14 days of installation, then added features stop working but the main body of the program works perfectly. It still scans for the same malware and can still be updated from within the program or by manually downloading the updates.

Ewido is a really good malware detection program. Although releatively new, I've included it in my group of tools when cleaning out computers..

Here's a link to the download and the explanation:

http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Hope this helps.
