Hi,

I have a fax and a laser printer. Can I use the fax toner refill to refill the laser printer carthridge?

Maybe. There are properties that you won't know about for each. Such as if the product is attracted better to a positive or negative electrostatic charge, the grain size, how much lubricant they put in that blend.

It's surprising how much different the compounds are.

I wouldn't ... those toner cartridges are made to last one filling and the drum may not give you the results that you're used to getting. Also, if you don't clean out the "waste cavity" you'll be getting excess toner all over what you print...

Break down and buy a new toner cartridge... it's not worth the hassle of refilling... unless you like messes.

There are differences and you can ruin your machines if wrong. I know refill operations know what's what, but they never "parted" with thier cheatlist, dang. So, its a real guessing game. You have a good chance if the brands are similar though, like HP fax, and HP laserjet, but again, its a guessing game. Just buy refills, at least you save that way and most refill operations will replace a defective toner cart..

good luck -----Willy

I am not sure about it but from my view,do not do that.Because suppose if it will not supported ,then it may be harm your printer.
