K..., please excuse my extreme ignorance....

...Are you kin to Louis? Since I'm from San Antonio, Louis and I talked several times about visiting each other. Louis was one of my favorite people and I was shocked when I learned of his condition.

Thanks K...You know, there an old axiom....

In reply to: (NT) The first offspring -- aka Troublemaker Jr.

...''the nuts don't fall to far from the tree'' So genetically, you've got to be one of the good guys. And there's nothing you can do about it...LOL. I'm really pleased to make your acquaintence. By the way, what does the ''K'' stand for?

it is funny you that axiom

In reply to: Thanks K...You know, there an old axiom....

he would always tell me (when I am causing trouble) the biggest trouble maker you (I) would meet would always be (staring)sp at me while I shave. My reply was always the axiom you used but modified; you know the Tree does not fall very far from the nuts. Then he would routinely promote me from DA to SA.

It's a wonderful glimpse into the life of a man we'd already come to know and love.

He's greatly missed. He really touched my heart. Many prayers to you and your family.

Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler, Louis!

(and do) that Louis and Orion have met and found they have a history in SE in common.

Orion would like Louis. He always appreciated folks who were articulate and had a great sense of humor. I assume Orion is getting an earful - and they both are laughing and happy. Happy

A nice thought for me.

Thanks, Jonah, for remembering.

A fine fellow we should all try to be more like.

I asked for him to deliver a message to my dad. I believe they are in the same blessed place now and from now on.
