HDbuff,

I appreciate a consumer advocate just like anyone else. But moreso, you're still our customer and I really want to see you taken care of.

You don't make my job any harder. I see both sides on the issue, and I have no argument with your statements. I apprecaite feedback, and send it up accordingly.

However, advocates can be critics - particularly when the sum of the television is reduced to the whole of a slight problem, and while I allow quite an ample and generous amount of criticism go unanswered, there are some posts I feel compelled to correct if I think an appropriate argument can be made or if the result is a misrepresentation, and not just by you.

I'll see if I can nail down a timeframe. It's very difficult to do, so I'll see what progress I can make.

final update :)

Samsung_HD_Tech,

Yu, as well as Samsung have been patient with me. I thank yu for this.

The 55B9000 wil actually be the 2009 High End Flagship Sink. NOT available till Sept. 2009. This will be the actual replacement for the A950 series.

I returned my A750 for Sammy RA Credit yesterday at PC Richards and got a sweet deal on a LN55A950 LED... 36% off Sammy Msrp. And they even transferred the 5 yr extended warranty over from the 750 to this 950...no issues.

What a picture... I'm speechless.

Yu were correct in directing me to Sammy's ECR dept....they were forthcoming on just enough info. And this helped me make a very practical decision.

Thanx again. HappyHappy

PS, I guess it's now time to open up a new and better A950 Thread!!!!

... and post my Calib. settings...

Wink

Sincerely,

HDbuff

HDBuff,

I'm glad to hear it worked out. I know having issues resolved is never a fun process, but we're here to get these things resolved.

Kudos to your retailer for transferring the warranty. That's sweet.

Enjoy your set, and I hope we can see some rave reviews! Happy
