Wayne,I am installing a dial-up connection and need your advise on what par wire to install.

Talked to different vendors and their recommendation varies considerably.

The wire will be about 75 ft long from the telephone box to the wall jack.

Your help will be greatly appreciated
Ray

Wink

Any of the Cat-3 wire will work. Standard house wire is 26 gauge. If you can find 24 gauge it will be a little better. Home Depot is a good place to look. 75 feet is nothing compared to the length of the cable pair from the CO to your house. Make sure the connections are tight.
