I have already asked two different "authorities" and received two contradictory answers. Here is the question: I have a HP that I bought a couple of years ago. I will forego all the system details in this case unless requested because I think it will not be germaine. When I bought the computer it had Windows Office on it...but locked up. I have NEVER unlocked it. I do not need those programs. Instead I use the very functional scaled down WORKS that is available. Every time I visit WINDOWS UPDATE, it wants me to download a very sizeable update for the UNLOCKED/UNOPENED...never deployed....Windows OFFice. Do these updates need to be downloaded? Is the unlocked WINDOWS OFFICE still at risk without the security updates? YES/NO. I appreciate all your opinions, but surely, based on the actual function and operation of the programs, there can only be ONE answer.
PS. CAn I delete the WINDOWS OFFICE from the computer without doing any harm to shared DLLs and other functionalities. A deletion would, I assume, erase the necessity of the question.
One of the best French door fridges we've tested
A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
