Well thank yoou very much for your suggestion, but would it be wise to drop to a 3000, I mean what's the point of getting say a geforce 6800 when I haven't got a great processor? But I will look into it and i'll try and find a different brand for the hard drive. Thanks again.
For processor, i would stay with the 3000+ unless you can afford an X2 3800+ or regular 3700+ San Diego core. For hard drive, i'd go with either western digital or seagate instead, but if you don't want to, its otherwise okay. Don't forget arctic silver 5 thermal compound. For a gfx card, i would go for a 6600gt, 6800, 6800gt, or 7800gt if possible. You might also want to get a better. With your savings from the 3500+, you could afford any of those cards. To power those cards, i would also get a better psu. Actually this might cost more than what you have now. You might be able to cut it with the case psu for a while. Good Luck.
