If you just say thank you we know you are reading and using, even if of no value please still leave a note.
In this way we know you want us to keep the tips coming.
Thank you for your notes.

I want to thank CNET for doing a GREAT job, and I certainly can use all the tips I can get. Being relatively new to my own PC I do a lot of reading before I ask a question and usually locate the answer to my question, however there are times I can't find an answer or the answer may not be exactly clear to me, so rather than do something stupid I will ask for help. All of you do a great job and I THANK YOU! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Sincerely,
Larry

I have a question and or suggestion, if it would be at all possible. Is there any way that you could add a small section on the user profile where we could type some information about our computers that you all need to know to answer a question, and have it show up on our posts along with any questions? I notice a lot of posts just ask a question and don't really give you any information on what type of setup they may have.

Larry, Unfortunately....

....the forum software doesn't allow for such a thing. It is a great idea (I moderate another forum which has such a service), and the best place to post such a request is in the "Forum Feedback" section. Click on the link below to do so:

Hope this helps.

Grif,
Thanks for the reply. I have noticed this on another forum and was curious as to why you don't have it on this one, but I assumed you would have it if at all possible. I guess if everyone wants a correct answer to their question, rather than an educated guess, they will just have to furnish the information you all need to be able to help.
