My background is primarily embedded computing. Many years ago I ran my own PC repair shop (8088 to 80386 days). As my embedded work increased I sold that but kept in touch and get called in on the tough repairs. Also with PCs invading everywhere I also expanded to other fields.
My travels find far too many no-name laptops with no spare parts and lacking service systems. If you've seen the carnage you would not consider some names in this business.
It's too expensive a decision for me to keep quiet about.

Hey man its me mtf612. I would like to apologize for the rude remarks i made in one of my other threads. I am sorry and should not have gotten so upset. However, even though I see you as a very helpful mod, in most cases, sometimes you need to stop giving useless information. Telling people that they bought the wrong laptop doesnt help them in any situation. That is why i became so angry with you earlier. I would like to take back all of my comments. I would also like to thank you for A) not banning me right there B) Helping me in the past C) Helping others on these forums. You are not the best with computers but know alot more current events regarding them. You are a great guy it seems and have helped so many people who unlike you and me, dont know so much about computers, and therefore only want some buying tips.
-R. Proffitt please accept my apology.
