I'm sure I'll get about as many responses as there are users but my question is should your computer be left on or is it better to always "shutdown".
I have a brand new computer that I want to take all the necessary steps to extend the life expectancy that I can so I'm unsure what is the best practice.
Another concern and the biggest is that I have cable connection so does this keep my computer open to viruses at all times or is it more susceptible through the "reboot" process or actually turning it on each day.
ALL suggestions are greatly appreciated. Keep it understandable though because even though I use the computer, I certainly DON'T understand the computer. I "think" changes would be made in display properties but I just want to confirm that as well. Again, thanks.

To "leave on" or NOT "to leave on", that is the question?!
