Sorry, but I deleted your post for 2 reasons:
1. It contained a rather unnecessary link to a review site for refrigerators. We don't like such, because we always feel it's mostly SEO.
2. This isn't a forum for laptop buying advice. For that we have a special forum: http://forums.cnet.com/laptops-forums/laptop-buying-advice-forum

To answer your question here: all you need to UPLOAD text and graphics to a website is something running an ftp-client. If you use another machine to MAKE that text and graphics a diskette drive (or a USB-slot or bluetooth) would come in handy to transport the data from that machine to your new laptop (or netbook or smartphone) that you use for downloading it to the website.

The question that comes to mind: why use a separate machine to upload the data. Why not do it on the same machine as you make it?
