To joy97: about post deletion

Sorry, but we don't like ads here. And after 2 comments mentioning a software from a certain fruitlike company a post asking for a webdeveloprer to help you use it, with a link again, is just too much of an ad.

All I can advise you: contact that company for help and support. They certainly should be able to recommend you some consultant or developer if they don't offer consultancy or development services themselves.

I see nothing offensive in Kees' post to you. He was referring to your two previous Comments in CNET's News Blog where you included url web addresses to the orangepoint web site, as shown in your profile;
http://www.cnet.com/profile/joy97/

You will find these forums remarkably clean of advertising in forum posts. That is because Forum Policy specifically states that advertising in posts is not permitted, and the members here along with the Moderators work hard to keep advertising out of the forums. Such posts that we find are routinely deleted.

We welcome members here who have questions or problems, and who help others, but we do not welcome advertising of web sites, products, or services.

I hope that helps.

Sorry, Joy, but I think you should start learning to read.

I didn't call YOU fruitlike, I called your company fruitlike (meaning: with a name like fruit) - please reread my post. I think it was something starting with orange or peach. That's fruit, you see. When deleting a ad-post, it doesn't make sense to mention the full ip-address (such as www.orangecompany.com), which would result in another google hit. So in cases like that I choose a description that's understandable for the offender, and doesn't point anyone to the site.

I didn't have any intention to insult you personally.
