To ilyas: about your site

Mar 25, 2015 6:16AM PDT

You post clearly showed what's wrong with your site: it didn't give the relevant information about the things you want to sell. Even you (the owner and creator of the site) couldn't find out if a certain case was suitable for a certain phone. Why would anybody take the risk of buying a case for his phone via your site, if that basic information isn't available?

But that's not the reason I deleted it. That is that we don't allow ads. But I'm sure I saved some people the embarrassment of having bought the wrong thing.

No free backlinks here: we have to make money also, as you'll certainly understand.

What does your business plan say about the (costs of) marketing your site? Marketing isn't free. But you may consider my advice about your content free. Your site just didn't answer your question about finding a nice case for that particular phone that you used as context for your backlink. So it adds not enough value to be a good affiliate site.

Moreover, why would Google rank your site high if someone searches for, say, iPhone case? Try such search terms yourself, then see what links you get and ask yourself why your site would be worth a place on the first page.

Maybe see if Googles Adwords are a good means to find customers. But, of course, an affiliate earns less than a shop, and cases are rather cheap and a rather low profile item and makers won't pay you much to mention their product , so I wonder if it will ever be worth the trouble to invest time and money in such a site. The potential to make money seem far less than for a beauty or fashion blog, where some beauty and fashion talents make a decent living of.

Anyway, best of luck with your site.

Kees
