Once again back with another installment of buy or not buy? Today I need some input on the special edition L2000 HP notebook. Here are the build specs:
Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Professional with SP2
AMD Turion(TM) 64 ML-37 (2.0GHz/1MB L2 Cache)
14.0 WXGA BrightView Widescreen (1280x768)
ATI RADEON(R) XPRESS 200M w/productivity ports
1.0GB DDR SDRAM (2x512MB)
80 GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive
8x DVD+/-RW/R & CD-RW Combo w/Double Layer Support
54g(TM) 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125HSM/SpeedBooster(TM)
12 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
6-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader
5.38 lbs, $1300 (roughly)
Also, anyone know of a retailer offering a laptop with the ML40?

No retailer currently as the turions are new. Exempt from online retailers. The L2000 is a good buy. But i don't like the plastic look. Proably very durable though

Even on I think that unit hit 999 on some page I saw. I've yet to touch the L2000, but it's the same basic look/design of the v2000 series which I know people like. It's clean and you'll like the way it looks.

If I was buying today, the L2000 would be on the top of my list. Right now I have an R3000 from the office. It it goes back...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
