TmProxy.exe.error on Outlook shuts down my email & internet

I tried to download my Outlook email, the task failed and my computer gave me an error message called "tmproxy.exe" It also shuts my internet access down. If I don't open my Outlook email everything works. I understand that this error message is from PC-cillin software. I've tried turning on and off computer & running a virus scan using Trendmicro & PC-cillin, but no luck. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes, it's from Trend Micro PC-cillin.

You have to ask them for a fix or like most of us will just uninstall it and use some other antivirus.

Thanks. I just spoke with them and they say I have a virus and that I should take my PC to Circuit City or a PC repair person. But I've scanned from 2 sources and I'm supposedly virus free. It annoys me because I would think that PC-cillan should be able to help me. I think I'll wait until week is a bad time to get help.
Any thoughts on how to fix in the mean time?

Look in our Spyware forum.

We like MalwareBytes for it's free scanner. Try that. But with Free AVG and AVAST both being free you can uninstall Trend if your scan with MalwareBytes comes up clean.
