TMobile G2 with Google

Hey guys, I'm a new guy here on CNET who recently joined. I been reading alot about the new G2 that's suppose to come out later this month or so. I was wondering what you think about it. I mean it's a very impressive phone with more applications and more hardware. Who wouldn't go wrong with a phone that has a Snapdragon processor running 800 gHZ in a phone and has about 4GB of internal storage (along with a 8GB memory card that comes with it)? But I want to hear the thoughts out that you all have. Whether you would believe the G2 is a great phone to get or another smartphone to say "ehh, it's ok" and move on.

Why would more apps be a draw?

Given that your average Droid phone can let us install apps wouldn't we want the phone to have as few apps as possible so we can get what we want rather than be stuck with the crud?

I'm pretty sure that the apps they have installed in the new G2 is useful to a lot of users. If you really don't want the apps that are on there, you can always use a uninstaller and see if it will work. I heard this new Droid phone has some good apps that are installed already.
