TKIP error for BD-C5500

we cannot get our player to connect to our wifi. we were trying to rest the device and get an error that "due to a change in policy, cannot connect, blah, blah, blah. i see other posts were your technology appears to have a problem with WPA encryption. we have a 16 character PW and have tried several times to re-connect to our wifi. your product does not seem very user friendly. we need specific instructions on how to resolve, please.

Networking documentation has always struggled to cover it all. The TKIP issue is well done so I won't bore you here.

Try AES or personal security on the router next. Remember that Samsung doesn't run or configure your network or make your router so they may not document what to do next. But this is reported widely and a testament to maybe, just maybe, IP networking wasn't that great for consumer gear.

We know that TKIP is an issue so I didn't want to rehash that here. Maybe that upset you but I wanted to move to what works. Can you help me here? Did you want to know more about this? It's not as if hashing it over will fix TKIP.
