TiVo2go

Does anyone know of a "free" codec or program to use for transfer of tivo recordings to PC? I have a wired adapter from TiVo Central - a laptop - and I have a full subscription to the TiVo service which includes a TiVo Home Media Desktop and TiVoToGo. TiVoToGo transfers are supposed to pull shows from my networked Series2 TiVo DVR onto my PC and then.... TiVo says: "Burn your favorite shows to take with you wherever you go. Burning TiVoToGo? transfers to DVD is easy with the purchase of software from Sonic
