Title Bars go black

Jul 14, 2007 11:57PM PDT

Hello,
Im on Vista Ultimate. when I open a window for something (windows explorer,IE,firefox, etc) the the title bar at the top of the window is normal, and has the normal AERO transparency effect going. When I maximize the window, the Title bar background at the top turns black. I have a bright background, so Im not sure whats causing the problem.
Plz Help!

ps
I have a nVidia 7600GS with the latest drivers

Believe it or not that's how Aero was designed, to match the Task Bar at the bottom. I too considered it a flawed design, so I did a quick modification and applied the theme Aero X3remes. It's very close to the default Aero theme but the title bar always remains clear, and the Taskbar always maintains some level of transparency. However, as Vista doesn't natively support the usage of third-party themes you'll need to click here and choose one of the methods for allowing such.

Hope this helps,
John
