TPF 5.0 vs. 5.5 changes:

Edit Rules Directly From Activity Monitor

- added special context menu on Firewall and Windows Security events in Activity Monitor. This significant addition results in the ability to change or create rule directly from Activity Monitor. Please note - new context menu will appear only when clicking on 'editable' event, i.e. event triggered by existing Firewall or Windows Security Rule.

Close Connections Directly From Activity Monitor

- added feature allowing to close existing connection displayed in the Activity Monitor - Connections tab

Stop All Traffic

- added Stop-all-traffic command in Tray icon menu

Watch Processes and Move'm to Groups Directly From Activity Monitor

- added Processes pane with array of context menu features (Activity Monitor)

Update known applications dialog (Tray Icon Menu)

- added option "Remove old checksums during Update"

Move 'Weeds' (unknown suspicious processes) to Quarantine Folder

- starting unknown suspicious processes may be moved to Quarantine folder (located in Program Files/Tiny Personal Firewall directory) and deleted / reinstated later

- added support for hard drives mapped into directory
- added 'Prevent for user' and 'Allow for user' options in context menu on folder tree in File Rules dialog
- fixed dynamic adding of external volumes (usually USB)

Improved Viewing of Events

- added log filtering by user and domain
- added Compact view (table-like) (Log) Note: Doesn't work with IE 5.0 (5.5 ok)
- added 'Last xxx events' field to filter (Log) Note: Doesn't work with IE 5.0 (5.5 ok)
- added 'statistical' mode of log (sorted by application)

Backup and Restore

- added Backup and Restore option to cfgtool

Tray Icon Menu Reorganization

- menu in the tray icon is more straightforward and allows to access rules for specific users directly
