Time Warner Road Runner Cable is Too Expensive

This service just keeps getting slower over time and the price for it is out of control and not worth it. There are also too many times also that I cannot even get online with it or it freezes up on me. My computer is new so it's not the computer either and I am tired of calling them to send a signal to the box to get it working again.

I've tried to get AT&T DSL service but due to a language barrier concerning communicating with their techs, located in India, it was impossible for them to get it working for me and I had to return the kit to them. They couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand them.

It then took almost a year to get the charges for the DSL service removed from my phone bill because I was not even to use their DSL Service for five minutes.

I am at a loss over what to do because these bills of almost $60 a month for this service are just a bit too much when the service isn't adequate any more.

We cannot even get wireless service in New York City because it isn't available yet and I think it would be the solution to my cost problem for my desk top and get better service at the same time.

My daughter has wireless service in New Hampshire and loves it yet you just can't get it in New York City. We are way behind everyone else here when it comes to modern technology and it doesn't make sense doe it?
