Time Warner, Audible, and Apple = extreme shabbyness

Feb 6, 2009 9:17PM PST

The iTunes store is selling a number of Martin Luther King's speeches as audio books. While there may be some added value in an audio book that compiles a number of great speeches in one place, is it really appropriate to sell an 18 minute slice of American history for $1.95?

Check out the speech entitled "Eulogy for the young victims of the 16th Street Church Bombing...". Do Apple, Audible, and Time Warner really need money this badly? I read through the description hoping to find where the money is donated to some charity, but all it is is a spiel for another, more expensive audio book. Jeez.

An addendum - I added an iTunes review about this shabbiness and Apple disappeared it.
