Try http://www.dolcevie.com/js/converter.html and put in the resulting ASCII for the WEP password.
Be aware that WEP is no protection as kid friendly apps let a kid connect to that wifi in under 2 minutes. I strongly suggest you find out how to change this to WPA.

I was in New York city recently with my I Phone and tried to connect to my daughter's Time Warner wireless and the password that is supplied by Time Warner is 28 characters. I the I phone will not take 28 characters for a password. She called Time Warner and they stated something about "hex encryption" and that they could not change the password. They implied that there is a way to work around this issue through the settings on the I Phone, but I can not find this information. Does anyone know how to work around this? There must be hundreds of thousands of I Phones in NY that are on Time Warner, thus there has to be a solution. My daughter is about to purchase I Phone 4 and will need to know how to solve this issue so that she can be on Wifi at home with her phone. Thanks for any thoughts anyone might have on this issue.
