That's a very simple 2 step trick.
1. Multiply by 24.
2. Make the cell format numeric with 2 decimals.
No magic. Just basic Excel.
I have made a timesheet. The hours for each employee are listed, but I do not know the formula for following:
When I do the regular formula for an employee who worked from 2PM-4:30PM, the answer is 2:30. But, our payroll department needs it to be listed in quarter-increments to where 2 hours and 30 minutes of work would be listed as 2.5 hours.
