Time re set

CAN ANYONE HELP !!!,

i'M USING WINDOWS ME ,THE TIME KEEPS RESETTING ITSELF EACH TIME THE COMPUTER IS SHUT DOWN.IT RESETS TO 1980 !!!. ANY EXPLANATION NEEDS TO BE VERY SIMPLE.YOU ARE TALKING TO SOMEONE WHO'S JUST LEARNT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT CLICK AND LEFT CLICK.

Microsoft Windows ME doesn't have much to do with this issue. Time to find the battery in the machine and replace it.

Be careful to have all that you can't lose on recordable CDs or just somewhere else.

How? Read the machine's manual since I've never found two exactly alike machines.
