Time limitation?

Feb 24, 2007 2:28AM PST

I want to buy Vista right now but I don't want to install it yet because of program incompatabilities. Will I be able to just keep it in the box and install it in a couple months or a year? Will the product key ever expire? Thanks.

Does anyone else have any input or arguments? I would completely trust you except I don't want to blow a huge wad of money without a 100% positive response from a couple of people. Thanks.

Vista and time limit.

Once you install the program on your computer it will tell you that you need to register it within X amount of time, I think it is 15 days but not sure.
So you can have it setting on a shelf for a year and there is no time limit until you install it on your computer.
By the way, Costco has all versions of Vista at $15.00 cheaper than the computer stores or Microsoft.

If you are getting Vista home premium wheather is be the uprade or full version for $50.00 it can't be legal and you will have some problems with it.
