I've been getting a fast clicking noise from my sub which is connected to the same power strip as my DSL modem. I tried moving it to another outlet (but on the same circuit) through another strip to no avail. Unplugging the DSL modem makes it go away, so I've isolated the problem, but I'm no closer to a solution.
The sub has no ground (nor does the modem), so I can't lift it. Thought a hum eliminator might be helpful, but no real clue there. The entire living room is on one circuit, so if moving to another outlet didn't fix it, I assume none of the others will either.
The sub has only RCA input, so I don't have a TRS option. Any suggestions?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
